A TEENAGER needs votes to help achieve her dream of becoming a princess.

Abigail Haviland, aged 14, from Harlaston, is in the final stages of the Teen Princess UK competition.

The Year Nine Rawlett School pupil was scouted while attending the Clothes Show in Birmingham.

Abigail is up against 49 other girls aged between 13 and 15 from across the country.

The two girls with the most text votes will go through to the finals in August.

Her mother, Martine, said: "What is so lovely is that she didn't go looking for this, the competition approached her.

"Abigail is such a lovely girl both inside and out."
