BOLEHALL Swifts keeper Darren Acton turned out for Solihull Moors in the Birmingham Senior Cup on Tuesday night.

Acton kept a clean sheet as the Moors beat Rushall Olympic 1-0 to reach the semi-finals.

Swifts manager Daren Fulford said: "Daz, by his own admission, hasn't been in the best form of late.

"He's an extremely professional guy and, when he is out of form, he is keen to rectify things.

"One of the issues has been that he has been used to playing at a higher level, training more regularly.

"With us training once a week, he feels he has lost a little bit of sharpness.

"So he has been doing some training with Solihull and played in the Birmingham Senior Cup for them.

"It's an opportunity for him to boost his sharpness and get some extra match practice.

"He obviously kept a clean sheet on Tuesday night as well, so that was a nice little confidence boost for him."
