BRITISH Invasion rockers are, erm, invading Tamworth on October 30 when both The Animals and Herman's Hermits serve the audience of the Assembly Rooms.

The Animals' biggest hit House of the Rising Sun is a consistent feature on 'top 50 best number ones in the world ever' type countdowns and will no doubt be included in the show alongside other hits and favourites.

Joining The Animals are Herman's Hermits, who could count Elvis Presley as a fan back in their 1960s heyday. Fans young and old can enjoy as they stop off in Tamworth with their old friends on their worldwide tour to mix up the nostalgia and the new.
