BURNTWOOD Boys & Girls Brigade's pantomime is back, and this year it's the popular tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.

The adventures of Jack are played in the true panto style by Amy Langford.

His brother Simple Simon is played by Ian Wood and their mother is brought to life by panto dame James Langford.

The story follows the threesome as they struggle to overpower the Giant, played by Michael Watts, and his evil sidekick, the Wizard, played by Oliver Stephenson.

They enlist the help of many characters as their adventures unfold.

The production takes place at the Burntwood Institute, Rugeley Road, Burntwood.

Performances are on Friday, at 7.30pm, Saturday, at 2pm and 7.30pm, Friday, February 5, at 7.30pm, and Saturday, February 6, at 2pm and 7.30pm.

Ticket are priced £5 for adults, and £3.50 for children and concessions.

All proceeds from the pantomime will go towards funding the Boys & Girls Brigade's activities throughout the year, including The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme activities, its annual camp, and canoeing and abseiling event.
