The regiment, resplendent in period dress, will be in the Lichfield Story Exhibition with a display of costume, armour and weapons from the Civil War years.
Members will talk to visitors about life during such a turbulent period in history.
The regiment will also march around the city and perform pike and musket drills on the Market Square on Sunday.
As an added bonus, the centre's usual admission fee is reduced to £2 for adults, with children going free.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the breathtaking views across the city as the viewing platform which tops the 40m-high spire of St Mary's will be open – weather permitting.
Children have to be aged 10 or older to attempt the climb, with all visitors required to be in 'good health' and wearing sensible footwear.
Exhibition chairman Joyce Berry said: "We are delighted that the regiment is returning to us again.
"With our special offer prices, plus the spire being open, we feel sure there is something to interest all ages this weekend."
The centre is open Monday to Saturday from 10am-5pm, and from 10am-4pm on Sundays. Last admission is an hour before closing each day.
