Tamworth's Community Café is steaming along with a growing number of venues and more good ideas to support local people.

Teams of volunteers are putting in hours each week to put on the hugely successful cafes in Wilnecote, Belgrave, Amington, and now in

There's a new Job Club on offer on Thursday every week in Belgrave at the new Community Fire Station, which allows jobhunters to get support and advice on writing CVs and applying for jobs.

And there's a brand new centre in Amington, at the Amington ARCH at the Kerria Centre every Wednesday.

Each café is a friendly mix of physical games for children, pool and the all-important tea, coffee and cakes.

They are also offering community information, games and quizzes and advice on healthy eating. A family adviser from Homestart Tamworth is on hand at Wilnecote every month, and a collection is made of donated tins for the Tamworth Foodbank project.

Wilnecote: Tuesdays 3pm to 5pm; Wilnecote Youth & Community Centre, New Road, Wilnecote B77 5DH.

Amington: Wednesdays 3pm to 5pm; Amington ARCH, Kerria Centre, Amington, Tamworth B77 4EW.

Belgrave: Thursdays 3pm to 5pm; Tamworth Community Fire Station, Belgrave, B77 2NW.

In February, the special activities offered at the Community Café's will be parachute games, suncatcher Valentine'e hearts, physical games and crafts.
