Complaints procedure reform to increase faith in the NHS
VIEWS from Tamworth residents are needed on plans which will transform the NHS complaints procedures.
More than 1,700 people have put their views forward on consultation, which Staffordshire County Council believes will "boost public confidence around issues relating to health trusts, GPs and social care services".
The initiative would revolutionise the way Staffordshire's NHS, health and social care sector works by providing a single place for people to direct comments and complaints, instead of the numerous different organisations and systems currently in place.
County councillor Matthew Ellis said: "This overwhelming level of feedback shows that residents are incredibly passionate about this issue and want the opportunity to have their voices heard."
