NORTH Warwick Cricket Club is hosting a winter academy for children aged between eight and 17.

The academy starts on Sunday, January 17 at Wilnecote Leisure Centre, Tamworth.

The course runs each Sunday for 10 weeks up to and including March 28 and is split into two age groups of 8-13 years and 14-17 years.

Budding players of all abilities are welcome and specialist coaches, qualified to English and Wales Cricket Board levels, will be on hand to give both group and one-to-one coaching.

The cost of the course is £30 per child or £3.50 for each session if paid weekly.
