AFTER the incredible success of its West End run, Dreamboats and Petticoats is coming to Wolverhampton as part of its UK tour. The smash hit musical, inspired by the popular albums, will be performed at the city’s Grand Theatre from February 9 to 13.

Dreamboats was launched as a musical last year, opening at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley in February to rave critical reviews and widespread audience acclaim.

More than one million people have since been enchanted by an evening of pure hedonistic affection for a more innocent era, when love was young and so was rock ‘n’ roll.

Having recently sold out on its return to Bromley in November, the show will begin its extended run with a two-week visit this month, before embarking on a national tour.

Written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, the team behind Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather, The New Statesman and Shine On Harvey Moon, this spectacular feel-good production will take you back to a time when each passing week brought another classic track.

The show features songs from Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury, Chuck Berry and many more.

And it includes songs such as Let’s Dance, To Know Him Is To Love Him, Shaking All Over, Bobby’s Girl, Three Steps To Heaven, Little Town Flirt, Only Sixteen, Sleepwalk, Runaround Sue, Happy Birthday Sweet 16, What A Wonderful World, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Let’s Twist Again and many more hits from music’s golden era.

Last year saw Dreamboats and Petticoats catapulted into the limelight, and ended with their first number one for the third album.

See the hit show inspired by the albums at the Grand Theatre next month.
