Fans set to ask the questions as manager Law says: 'It's good to talk'
LAMBS boss Marcus Law says he is looking forward to talking through the club's fortunes so far this season at a 'meet the manager' evening tonight (Thursday).
Law will answer questions from supporters in the Tamworth FC clubhouse after fans have watched a re-run of the Lambs' famous FA Cup game at Everton last month.
The Lambs boss is prepared for some testing questions from fans after a disappointing run of results in December and January.
Tamworth have since improved with four points from six against promotion hopefuls Cambridge and Fleetwood.
Law said: "I actually requested that we hold another meet the manager night.
"It's okay holding these kind of nights when everything is rosy but the run has not been that good of late and I wanted to hear the views of the fans.
"Supporters watch games and leave the ground with opinions. Sometimes they make assumptions and don't get to ask questions.
"So I want people to understand their manager and understand why I make the decisions that I do.
"I won't shy away from the questions that I am asked as people are entitled to air their views.
"I want to bring all four stands of the Lamb together. The decisions we are making are for the longevity of the club at the end of the day."
The event will start at 7pm in the clubhouse, this evening, with bar available. Entry is free.
The Everton game will be shown in full before the question and answer session begins with Law.
Fans can ask questions on the night or email clubsec@thelambs.co.uk today.
Law, meanwhile, hopes the recent signings of Jean Paul Marna and Charlie Reece can help his squad push on in the last few months of the season.
Striker Marna has arrived from Kettering and Law said: "JP's a proven goalscorer at this level.
"We have some good strikers at this club in Kyle Patterson, Kieron St Aimie and Iyseden Christie but, as a squad, we haven't always been clinical enough.
"JP gives us that, plus he's combative and when we have all four strikers fit I think we'll be very strong in that department."
Reflecting on Reece, who has arrived on loan from Bristol Rovers, Law said: "He wants to get his career on track and show what he is capable of and playing at this level will help him to do so.
"He's willing and eager to do well and we are glad to have in on board."
