CASH BOOST: New GP training facilities have been officially opened at Tri-Links Medical Practice in Tamworth.

Tamworth MP Christopher Pincher opened the facilities, which will provide much-needed training places in the area for GP registrars and foundation trainees. Dr Sreehari Singu Rao, partner at Tri-Links, said: "We are thrilled to be in a position to offer this provision from our practice, giving trainees the opportunity to gain vital experience in general practice."

The £156,000 investment has provided two additional consulting rooms, a treatment room, sub-waiting area and anl education/library room.
