Consultant Pamela Choudhury is the new Medical Director of St Giles Hospice.
The most senior member of St Giles' medical staff, Dr Choudhury is responsible for managing the hospice's team of doctors and consultants, as well as for the strategic planning of medical services.
She says: "I have been with St Giles since 1999 and very much enjoy working for the hospice. Dr Morrison did a fantastic job as Medical Director before me and will certainly be a hard act to follow – but it's a privilege to be taking on the challenge at such an exciting time for St Giles."
