Laura just out of the UK medals
TAMWORTH sprint star Laura Langowski produced a fine performance as she narrowly missed out on a medal at the UK Indoor Trials in Sheffield.
Langowski finished fourth in the final of the 400m on Sunday, running 54.24secs.
Former world outdoor silver medallist Nicola Sanders was third with Shana Cox claiming the title ahead of Birchfield's Nadine Okyere.
Langowski had claimed the scalp of Sanders in the opening round of the 400m, winning her heat in 54.54secs.
In the semi-final, Langowski ran a good tactical race to qualify for the final in second place in 54.67secs, claiming the scalp of another top British runner, Vicky Barr.
