Man taken to hospital after collision with tree near Atherstone
A young man was taken to hospital after his car collided with a tree at the junction of Coleshill Road and Bentley Common in Bentley by Atherstone just before 11.00pm, Tuesday (February 14).
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a paramedic area support officer were sent to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "The driver's side of the car had collided with the tree. It had suffered massive intrusion into the driver's side.
"The front seat passenger, a 22 year old woman, managed to get out of the vehicle and was uninjured.
"The driver, a 22-year-old male, tried to get out of the passenger side of the car but collapsed in the footwell of the passenger side.
"He had suffered a potentially serious head injury. Due to his condition ambulance staff rapidly extricated him from the car with assistance of firefighters – no cutting was required.
"The man was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board before being taken on blue lights to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire."
