As the temperature plummets and forecasters predict snow for Wales and the west of Britain, emergency services are warning Tamworth and North Warwickshire people to prepare for ice and frost this week.

Police and road safety advisors are reminding everyone to prepare for freezing temperatures this week as the forecast warns it will remain icy all week.

Drivers should remember to leave extra time for de-icing the car in the morning, and not to leave your car unattended while it defrosts. And pedestrians too should be on the alert for ice on roads and paths.

If there is snow, we will try to keep up to date with any school closures or bus and train changes.
