Reece and Marna added to Lambs squad
THE transfer window may have shut across Europe but Tamworth managed to beat the deadline with a number of comings and goings over the past week.
Marcus Law has completed a one-month loan deal for 23-year-old midfield player Charlie Reece from Bristol Rovers.
Reece trained with his new teammates on Monday and is available for selection this weekend.
Reece has been with the Pirates for six years and has made 34 first-team appearances in that time.
The youngster also had a brief loan spell at Gloucester City earlier in the season.
Reece will be joined by Kettering striker Jean Paul Marna.
He was at Kettering for six seasons and was rewarded with a testimonial against Tottenham Hotspur last season.
Joe Collister signed a new deal that takes him up to the end of the season but then left immediately for a one-month loan to Conference North side Altrincham.
The loan has an option of a 24-hour call-back.
Also leaving the club were Pat Kanyuka and Rico Taylor.
Kanyuka, who was part of the Tamworth side beaten 2-0 by Everton last month, has been released while Taylor has joined Heather St John on loan until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, one more possible signing could be that of Ashley Grayson from Carlton Town. The midfielder is on trial at Tamworth this week.
