THE Cardinal Point scheme is one of two developments planned for Ventura Park.

The second is earmarked for land next to the Tamworth Herald offices.

Similar in size to Marks and Spencer, ASDA and Sainsbury's, the unit will be one of the more dominant outlets on the retail park.

And while no details of which retailer will move into the building have been revealed, the building's "striking" design was unveiled last month.

The two developments will lead to a restructuring of Ventura Park's road network.

Money from the developers will be used improve traffic flow.

Possible options include opening up new exits and installing traffic lights.
