Understand dyslexia with college course
TAMWORTH residents can learn more about dyslexia in a new informal community course being run by South Staffordshire College.
The idea is to promote understanding of dyslexia, a condition that affects one in 10 people in the UK.
The course will explain what dyslexia is, what the identification signs are and strategies for dealing with it, including how to broach the subject with schools or colleges attended.
It will be held at the Croft Street campus every Wednesday for six weeks, starting on Wednesday, February 1 from 7pm to 9pm and costs £51 per person.
For more details or to register call the college on 0300 456 2424.
