WITH eight wins and two draws from 11 outings, Manchester United have the best away record in the Premier League.

Despite heading to Stamford Bridge as outsiders, Sir Alex Ferguson's charges can improve their travelling record by collecting yet another three points on the road, at the expense of Chelsea.

The hosts, 6/4 chances at BetVictor, have already lost on their own patch to Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa, while only six top-flight teams have conceded more home goals than the Blues.

So the statistics point to a United triumph, even though there will be no shortage of punters tackling the draw at 23/10 with Stan James.

The champions' last league match saw them edge out Arsenal in North London so it's hard to fathom just why Boylesports make them 21/10 to also emerge triumphant in the west of the capital, where they're a chunky 11/1 courtesy of Blue Square to register another 2-1 success.

Alternatively, Paddy Power post 18/5 against a United victory by a one-goal margin, a wager that also covers a 1-0 win (9/1, Skybet), a repeat of the result Sir Alex Ferguson's troops posted when they last visited Stamford Bridge in the Champions League last April.

Wayne Rooney, meanwhile, was the match winner in that one and also found the net when the Red Devils saw off Chelsea 3-1 earlier this term.

With six goals to his name in his last eight outings, the United frontman catches the eye in William Hill's first scorer betting at odds of 6/1.

Leaders Manchester City are home bankers at 3/10 with Skybet as they entertain Fulham and the Cottagers' lack of goals on their travels suggests that Roberto Mancini's side will also prevail 'to nil', an outcome Partybets price at even money.

Also set to pick up maximum points at home are Arsenal, Betfred's 2/7 favourites ahead of the visit of Blackburn and a Gunners win can be combined with a match total of three or more goals at odds of 4/5 (Bet365).

At Anfield on Monday evening, Liverpool put their unbeaten home record on the line as they tackle third-placed Tottenham and BetVictor make the Reds 5/4 to further dent Spurs' fading title hopes.

However, Kenny Dalglish's men have drawn seven out of 11 in their own backyard and Bet365's 12/5 for the spoils to be shared is the best bet on Merseyside.

Also set to be inseparable are Newcastle and Aston Villa, who Betfred rate at 12/5 to end all square while at the same price, this time with Skybet, the stalemate stands out at the Britannia Stadium, where Stoke entertain Sunderland.

At the bottom, Partybets' 11/10 chances QPR should have the measure of poor-travellers Wolves and Wigan's plight isn't expected to get any better; the Latics are 11/5 with Ladbrokes to only earn a point against Everton and that won't do much to ease their relegation worries.

At Carrow Road, Skybet quote Norwich at evens to beat Bolton and Swansea's lack of cutting edge away from home, could be their undoing at West Brom, William Hill's 11/10 favourites.
