VAULTS FC recorded their first-ever point in the top division of the Tamworth Sunday League last weekend.

They travelled to Tweedale and hit back from 3-1 down to secure a 3-3 draw.

Tweedale took control and were rewarded with an early lead through Shakespeare before Vaults levelled just before the break through Barber.

Shakespeare and Knight made it 3-1 to Tweedale but Barber and Barron levelled.

Glascote Swifts lost 8-4 to Wood End Sports. Glascote's goals were scored by Mattision (2), Hathaway and Goodby.

Royal Oak Kingsbury won 3-2 against Wilnecote WMC.

Polesworth United scored a 7-1 win over Warton WMC thanks to Brampton, King, Chetwynd, Haynes, Starkey and Coles (2).

In Division One, Tamworth Arms scored a 3-2 win over Glascote Swifts Reserves.

Tamworth Castle lost 4-2 to DC United with braces from Masters and Holloway.

The Winning Post secured a good 2-1 win over New North Warwick, thanks to Crook and Jones.

Garvin got Warwick's goal.

Drayton Manor lost 4-2 to Measham United while Fazeley Three Horseshoes lost 3-0 to Newton Thistle.

Division Two title favourites Wilnecote Red Lion beat Mile Oak Rovers away thanks to Gough and Walton.

Glascote Social lost 6-1 to Two Gates United while Hockley Prince met Bristan.

Goals from Kelt and Heath gave the Prince a 2-0 lead.

McKenzie, Kelt and Brown stretched the lead before Francis and O'Connell netted consolation efforts.

Wood End put pressure on Black Horse from the start and missed a host of chances before taking the lead through Blunt after some excellent play down the left by Walker.

Black Horse hit back through Mason but Blunt fired Wood End to a 2-1 win.

Birchmoor United were beaten 7-2 by Royal Oak Polesworth, whose goals came from Scaysbrook (2), Newbold (3), Easto and Murell.

Drayton Bassett ensured maximum points after a 4-2 win over Edingale Swifts.

In Division Three, Glascote Swifts Rangers beat FC Ubar 4-3 thanks to a hat-trick from Rowley and one from Rose.

Midland Unity lost 4-3 to New Liberal, who stormed to a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes.

They stretched their lead with two more after the break before Righton (2) and O'Reilly set up a tense finish.

New Three Tuns drew 1-1 with Drayton Manor Youth, Ormsby on target for Tuns.

In Division Four, Tamworth Castle Reserves hammered Ankerside Rangers 8-1 thanks to Rigby (2), Prescott (2), Fisher, Olson, Shergold and an own goal.

Fazeley Tuns won 5-0 over Deltic Wanderers.
