Walliams gives it some 'smelly' as tramp tale is anything but stinker
LITTLE Britain creator, charity super-swimmer and now award-winning children's novelist, is there anything David Walliams cannot do?
Stretching the boundaries of live performance once again, a scent-sational show with a difference – based on a book by Walliams – opened this week in Wolverhampton.

With an unprecedented level of audience participation, Mr Stink, The Scratch and Sniff Show, is bound to delight anyone who loves to get a good whiff of the action.
Based on the award-winning children's novel, Mr Stink continues its world premiere tour at the Grand Theatre, playing from now until Saturday night.
This hilarious musical production is now breaking new ground in theatre by being the first ever interactive scratch 'n' sniff family show, with each audience member given a free booklet they can scratch to bring Mr Stink to life.
But beware, he's not called Mr Stink for nothing!
The story centres around Chloe, who doesn't like school very much and isn't as cool as the other kids, with no iPhone, no DS and no friends.
Then she meets Mr Stink – the local tramp.
He smells a bit but he's the only person whose ever been nice to her – including her mother who wants to be the local MP and is trying to rid the streets of its homeless.
About to lose her only friend, Chloe finds Mr Stink a secret hiding place – but is there more to him than meets the nose?
With its funny storyline, great songs, enchanting puppetry and highly original smell, Mr Stink is fun for all the family.
The show is adapted and directed by Matthew White – the man behind the recent West End productions of Sweet Charity, Little Shop Of Horrors and Top Hat – with music composed by Matt Brind (musical director for Legally Blonde and the conductor and orchestrator for John Barrowman's latest album).
Performances take place on Wednesday, October 19 at 6pm; Thursday, October 20 at 10am and 1.30pm; Friday, October 21 at 10am and 7pm; Saturday, October 22 at 1.30pm and 5.30pm; and Sunday, October 23 at noon and 4pm.
Tickets are £7.50 to £20.50 with concessions available.
