TAMWORTH ABC boxer Ollie Mansfield produced solid performances but had mixed results from two recent bouts.

Mansfield faced D Onions, from Donington, in his first fight.

Onions looked strong and threw shots from all angles but Mansfield was the more mobile of the fighters.

He used his feet well and picked his shots, claiming a unanimous points win.

Mansfield was next in action against S Johal, from Derby, but despite another close fight, he was defeated on a majority decision.

Sian Hemmings was also in action against Samantha Batty, from Newdigate.

The two produced a superb display of boxing with officials naming it the bout of the night, but Hemmings lost out on points.

Ellis Hadland also won a skills bout this week and will make his competitive debut when the club holds its last dinner show of the season at Drayton Manor Park tomorrow night.
