There'll be the chance to run, jog or saunter round Tamworth Castle Grounds next month (March) as part of the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile.

The Arts and Events team are encouraging people to get creative with their fancy dress for the event, which takes place in the Castle Grounds on Sunday March 25.

Whoever is judged to be wearing the best fancy dress for the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile will win two tickets to a show of their choice at the Assembly Rooms. You have to be in it to win it!

The Tamworth Mile will set off from the Castle Grounds and is set to be an incredible event. Entrants don't have to be sporty to take part, but can choose to complete one, three or six miles knowing that all the money raised will help to change the lives of people living unimaginably tough lives right here on our doorstep, across the rest of the UK and in some the world's poorest countries.

Last year, the Tamworth Mile had more than 800 participants and raised a staggering £19,887.
