The crux of the matter actually, is that there has been simply no response to the question of the filthy state of the roads, pavements and grassed areas; and it obvious from past observations that councillors do read these blogs; so, why the total silence?
Another reason for using these sites, is, that on the odd occasion that a comment from a councillor can be drawn, then it is in black and white, other than some telephone call that can afterwards be denied. “I was watching the news a few months ago and there was a story about the President of Pakistan's visit to Britain ,during his visit he visited the Pakistani community in Birmingham , us older Brits remember Birmingham City Council spending millions of ratepayers and taxpayers money redeveloping Birmingham ,after the work was completed Birmingham was a much better looking place.
The Australian television reporters showed the back streets of Birmingham, which are apparently home to the Pakistani community , the streets were littered with rubbish and i honestly thought they were filming in some third world city .
Australian television stations never miss an opportunity to show the worst side of Britain ,in fact they revel in it , and those filthy streets would have caused many an Australian watching the news to wonder what happened to Britain , i always tell people that Tamworth is a good town full of good people and clean .
Personally i would hate the streets of Tamworth to become like those back streets of Birmingham , shame on Birmingham council for allowing it to happen ,and shame on Tamworth council if they allow it to happen in Tamworth.”

“A few years ago when I lived in West street Town Centre, the weeds along the wall at the back of Horten's were almost knee high so I went to the Council offices and politely reported it a lovely woman at reception.
