Sad death of Blaze Bayley's wife

THE wife of Tamworth rock legend Blaze Bayley has died, aged 38.

Heartfelt tributes have poured in for Debbie Hartland, who died on September 27 following a brain haemorrhage and a stroke.

"Debbie was my love, my life and my inspiration," wrote her husband Bayley 'Blaze' Cooke on the band's website PlanetBlaze.com.

"She was really a larger than life person," Debbie's mother and father-in-law Pat and Mike Cooke told the Herald.

"Debbie and Bayley were so happy and good together. She was his everything, she was his world."

Debbie's collapsed at home on July 6. She and was rushed to hospital, where it was discovered that she had suffered a brain haemorrhage.

Debbie endured three rounds of neuro surgery but despite each one being described as a success, she remained in a coma and lost her battle for life on September 27.
