X Factor Niki Evans set for West End role

POLESWORTH singer Niki Evans opened her dressing room door to give Herald readers a behind-the-scenes look at her new West End stage role.

The former X factor semi-finalist has landed one of the leading roles in the well established musical Blood Brothers.

The mum-of-two will play Mrs Johnstone in Willy Russell's show.

She will make her stage debut at the Birmingham Hippodrome on October 20, before the show moves to the London Phoenix Theatre, in the West End.

Blood Brothers runs at Birmingham Hippodrome from Monday, October 20, until Saturday, November 1. Tickets can be booked online at www.birminghamhippodrome.com or by phone on 0844 338 5000.
