The event takes place tomorrow (Friday) night in St Editha's Square from 5pm until 8pm, and will feature a whole host of entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
The main stage will be in St Editha's Square, where the grand lights switch-on will take place at 8pm.

Those set to perform include Moorgate School Choir, Lark Hall School, St Leonard's School, Tamworth Arts Club and the Tamworth Pantomime Company.
Father Christmas is set to make an appearance at 7.50pm and there will be a 'big sing-a-long' for everyone to get involved with straight after the lights switch-on at 8.05pm.
At the Assembly Rooms there will be a craft fair, with the top 10 posters in the Herald's Christmas poster competition on display.
There will also be lots to see in George Street, including various walkabout characters, such as Rudolph, Jack Frost and Christmas Trees.
Street dancing by the Street Dynamix Company will also feature.
Outside the Town Hall there will be two performances of music. At 5pm until 5.50pm QEMS pupils will be performing Christmas songs and festive classics, and at 6pm there will be various acoustic performers until 8pm.
The Town Hall will also host some indoor activities, including face painting and Christmas card making among others.
At 6pm there will be a parade from the Town Hall along George Street.
It will be led by the Polesworth Pioneers from the Town Hall and will finish in the square.
St. Editha's Church will also have its doors open with the annual Christmas tree competition.
Trees have been decorated by schools, local companies and charities will be on display and visitors will have the chance to vote on their favourite.
All money raised is in aid of the Church roof fund.
The new Activity Centre in the Castle Grounds will be open from 5pm until 8pm, where an ice rink will be open for all to enjoy at a cost of £1 per person per session.
There will also be a children's play room open for the younger children to play and have fun. Activities include drawing, ball pool, building blocks, toys and much more.
