Lambs ease past East Thurrock

Goals from debutant Tom Shaw and Bradley Pritchard inside the first 20 minutes set the tone for a comfortable win.
The visitors enjoyed more spells around the Tamworth penalty area in the second half but Martin Llewellyn's late strike was scant consolation after Gareth Sheldon had made it 3-0 with a smartly taken free-kick.
The Lambs went in front on 17 minutes as former Mansfield midfielder Shaw burst into the box and squeezed the ball under the body of Richard Wray.
The lead was doubled two minutes later as the lively Pritchard combined with Nick Wright, jinked in the area, and hit a well struck right footed shot into the net.
Sheldon then went close with an audacious lob while Rodman was denied by the alert Wray.
The visitors started the second half with more purpose and a free-kick from Matt Lovell on 51 minutes found Touhy at the far post but his cross-shot was easily gathered by David Bevan.
Alex Rodman then contrived to miss two glorious chances for the Lambs, first directing a header wide and then somehow blazing over from four yards out after good work from Wright.
The home side killed the tie off as a contest on 64 minutes. Pritchard was scythed down by Steve Pashley and Sheldon curled the resultant free-kick past Wray.
Wright should have made it 4-0 a minute later but was denied by Wray while Sheldon curled another set-piece narrowly wide of the keeper's left hand post.
The visitors never gave up, however, and Kurt Smith and Kris Newby both went close before, with five minutes left, Newby's cross to the far post was neatly converted by substitute Llewellyn as the Tamworth defence dozed.
