Three teenagers hurt in moto-cross bike accident in North Warwickshire

Three teenagers were taken to hospital by ambulances after an incident involving a moto-cross motorbike in Fillongley, North Warwickshire, last night (Wednesday, January 25).

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 11.05pm on Wednesday evening to Coventry Road, Fillongley, near to Kays News Agents.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "On arrival, the crew found the three teenagers lying next to a moto-cross style motorbike.  

"They were told that there had been a collision between the bike and a 4x4 vehicle though there was no vehicle fitting that description at the scene."

A 14 year old girl had suffered a serious head injury

A boy estimated to be in his late teens had a broken leg.

A 13 year old girl was complaining of pain in her left shoulder and right knee, but it was not thought to be serious.

"All three were immobilised using neck collars and spinal boards before being taken to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire."
