TAMWORTH RFC under-eights produced an excellent performance to overcome local rivals Burton in two games.

They won the first game 10-6 but improved even more in game two, winning 7-3.

Darnell Needham was the star performer with ten tries while Dan Hunt scored three.

Akron Rayworth-Brooks added two tries and Ethan Vickery crossed the line once.

Josh Vandenburg also scored a try while Needham and Jack Jones were named players of the match.
